Michelle works with clients to build financial confidence and resilience to embrace and navigate life’s financial opportunities and challenges. In particular, she believes that women face unique financial challenges and deserve financial advice that builds confidence and works for them.

Michelle holds several academic degrees and professional designations that demonstrate her commitment to her clients and the field of financial planning.

Michelle graduated from the University of Victoria with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in economics and history. She also holds specialized designations in divorce financial analysis that inform her work with clients who are going through divorce or separation.

Michelle joined FocalPoint in 2019 as an independent financial planner. Prior to that, she was a financial advisor at national insurance company.

Michelle was born on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia and grew up on Prince Edward Island before making her way to British Columbia. She enjoys kayaking and any activities on the water. When not working, she can be found enjoying time with her family.
